Plain Tube
ALVENTri Plain Tubes do not contain any additives. They are used for collecting and storing blood specimen for biochemistry, immunology and serology test in medical inspection and applicable for all current mainstream biochemical analyzer.

EDTA
ALVENTri EDTA tubes are coated with K2EDTA or K3EDTA. They are for examination of whole blood in hematology and can be used in direct sampling analyzers without actually being opened. EDTA binds the calcium ions and therefore blocks the coagulation cascade. Erythrocytes, leucocytes, and thrombocytes in an EDTA anticoagulated blood samples are stable for up to 24hours.
Applications: Complete Blood Count, Reticulocyte count, Malaria parasites / Leishmania / other parasite, HbA1c, Flow cytometry, DNA/RNA extraction, Molecular, Blood grouping, cross match.

HEPARIN
ALVENTri Heparin tubes are coated with spray-dried lithium heparin or sodium heparin. They are used for collecting blood specimen for biochemistry tests and some test items in blood rheology. The anti-coagulants heparin activities anti-thrombins, thus blocking the coagulation cascade of the blood specimen producing a whole blood/plasma sample instead of clotted blood plus serum.

COAGULATION
ALVENTri coagulation tubes are filled with a buffered sodium citrate solution. They are available with a Citrate concentration of 0.109 mol/l (3.2%). Coagulation tubes are mainly used for examination of coagulation parameters and can provide an excellent condition for the test of PT, APTT values.
Applications: PT, APTT, INR, Standard adult coagulation tests

Glucose Tube
ALVENTri plasma glucose fluoride tubes are coated with sodium fluoride and potassium oxalate. They are designed for accurate blood glucose estimation by inhibiting glycolysis immediately after collection. It contains sodium fluoride and an anticoagulant to preserve true glucose levels, making it ideal for fasting, random, and post-prandial glucose testing.
Applications: Glucose, lactate, blood alcohol, HbA1C and lactate.

CLOT ACTIVATOR
